ISOLATION is a short film written, directed and starring Miranda Rose Pave. This is her debut film loosely inspired by real life events, as well as the 2020 pandemic. The hope of this film is that it is received by similarly minded people who find solace in being able to see their very real struggles represented on film.
Going about her day in a haphazard manner, the young girl starts straight off on her phone, computer, calls and emails. After getting up, and despite being covered by angels, reality gets the better of her. She is quickly thrust into a hellish seascape of demons and inevitably descends into madness. In an attempt to wash away the dark forces, she heads for the bathroom. Lost in the depths of her own ISOLATED world, she manages to temporarily rid herself of the intense fear.
She is finally able to find calm, bring herself back and watch a movie, while enjoying a cold treat. She is at peace… or is she ?

A more in depth look at the majority of the process of making ISOLATION. This is rare footage of both myself and the camera op going through the trial and error process of capturing every shot of this film. We laughed, we (almost) cried, we debated, theorized, pontificated, got tired and frustrat...
